Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on arpanet.com.tr, why they are used, and how you can manage your preferences. Because this is a brochure site with no accounts or forms, the number of cookies we use is deliberately very small.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit. “Local storage” (localStorage) is a similar browser mechanism; technically it is not a cookie, but we cover it here for transparency. These technologies let the site remember your choices and, where you allow it, help us understand how the site is used.

2. The categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary (technical) cookies: required for the site’s basic functions and do not require consent; used to remember your language and your cookie choice.

Performance–analytics cookies/technologies: help us understand how the site is used in aggregate, and load only with your explicit consent.

Functional cookies: remember choices such as your theme preference (provided on our site via the browser’s local storage).

Targeting/advertising (marketing) cookies: NOT used on this site. We do not track you across other sites and do not build advertising profiles.

3. First/third party and duration

The strictly necessary and functional cookies we use are first-party cookies (set only by this site). Cookies may be session cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent cookies (kept on your device for a set period); the durations for the cookies our site uses are shown in the table below.

4. Legal basis for cookies

Strictly necessary/technical cookies are used without consent under Article 5/2 of the KVKK (necessity for providing the service and the data controller’s legitimate interest). Performance-analytics and other non-essential cookies load only with your explicit consent under Article 5/1 of the KVKK. The duty to inform is separate from explicit consent; your consent for analytics is obtained by your free will, not via a pre-ticked box.

5. Managing your cookie preferences

On your first visit, the cookie banner presents “Accept all” and “Essential only” at the same level and with equal prominence; refusing is as easy as accepting. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by re-opening the “Cookie preferences” button below. You can also block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary items may affect how the site works.

6. Analytics and third parties

Analytics runs only if enabled and after you select “Accept all”; for this we prefer privacy-friendly solutions that are cookieless by default (e.g. Plausible). As a result, even with analytics on, no additional tracking cookie may be placed on this site. We do not use third-party cookies for advertising, social media or cross-site tracking.

7. International transfers

If analytics is provided through a provider located abroad, the data processed for that purpose is transferred on the basis of the current conditions in Article 9 of the KVKK (an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards) and your explicit consent.

8. Your rights and how to apply

You may exercise your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK in respect of personal data processed via cookies, and contact us through the official application channels; details are in the KVKK Clarification Notice.

9. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time; the version dated above is the one in effect.
