Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 June 2026
This Privacy Policy summarises, in plain language, how Arpanet Bilişim A.Ş. (“Arpanet”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data through this website (arpanet.com.tr). It covers only this marketing website; it does not cover the separate product applications (Qevron, Calleague, Blab, Talky, SetGet, Sosyabot, Pickerman), each of which has its own privacy notice. For the detailed disclosure required under the KVKK, see the “KVKK Clarification Notice” tab.
1. Scope
This is a brochure website with no accounts, no online intake forms and no online payments. You share personal data with us only when you voluntarily contact us via the e-mail link on the site; beyond that, the only data processed are the technical records required to deliver the site and analytics collected solely with your consent.
2. Data controller
The data controller for personal data processed through this website is Arpanet Bilişim A.Ş. Registered office: ODTÜ Bilişim İnovasyon Merkezi, Mustafa Kemal Mah. Dumlupınar Bulv. No: 280, Kat: 1, D: 115, Çankaya / Ankara, Türkiye. Contact: info@arpanet.tr · +90 312 486 00 22.
3. The data we process (and what we do not)
Information you send us: when you click the e-mail link, your email client opens and we receive whatever you include, typically your name, your email address and the content of your message.
Technical data collected automatically: to deliver and secure the site, our infrastructure keeps standard server/access logs (such as your IP address, date and time, the pages requested and your browser/device information).
Analytics (only with your consent): if you select “Accept all” in the cookie banner, privacy-friendly, aggregated usage statistics are collected. We do not build advertising profiles and do not track you across other sites.
What we do not collect: this site does not process special-category data (health, biometric data, etc.), payment/financial data, location data, or account/membership data.
4. Purposes and legal grounds
We process your data to respond to your enquiries, demo requests and other messages; to operate, maintain and secure the site and prevent abuse; to keep records of our correspondence; and — only with your consent — to measure aggregate usage so we can improve the site.
The legal grounds are the conditions in Article 5 of the KVKK: our legitimate interest for site security and server logs (Art. 5/2-f); the establishment or performance of a contract at your request, for handling your enquiry (Art. 5/2-c); and our legal obligations where applicable (Art. 5/2-ç). Analytics relies solely on your explicit consent (Art. 5/1). For visitors in the EEA, we honour the equivalent grounds under the GDPR.
5. Cookies and analytics
The site uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies (your language and cookie choice) and analytics technologies that depend solely on your consent. For the cookie categories, legal bases and the full list, see the Cookie Policy.
6. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising. We disclose data only to categories of service providers acting on our instructions — principally our hosting provider, our email provider and, where analytics is enabled, our analytics provider — and to competent authorities where legally required.
7. International transfers
If part of our hosting, email or analytics is provided from outside Türkiye, your personal data is transferred under the current conditions in Article 9 of the KVKK: first, whether an adequacy decision exists; if not, appropriate safeguards such as the Board-published standard contract, binding corporate rules or an undertaking; and, failing those, only on the exceptional grounds set out in the Law (including your explicit consent where required). Any international transfer of analytics data takes place only with your explicit consent.
8. Retention
We keep enquiry and contact correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then delete or anonymise it unless a longer period is required by law. Server/access logs are kept for a short period for security and diagnostics. Consent and preference cookies last as described in the Cookie Policy.
9. Security
In line with Article 12 of the KVKK, we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted access rights and the principle of data minimisation — to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
10. Your rights and how to apply
You have all the rights set out in Article 11 of the KVKK. The full list of those rights, the official application channels (written petition, registered electronic mail (KEP), secure/mobile electronic signature, or an email address registered in our system) and the response time are explained in detail in the KVKK Clarification Notice. For questions you may also reach us at info@arpanet.tr.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu); EEA visitors may apply to their own supervisory authority.
11. Children and automated decisions
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children; we do not knowingly collect children’s data. We do not make decisions producing legal effects about you, or similarly significantly affecting you, by solely automated means.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the version dated above is the one in effect, and material changes are reflected on this page.
The version dated above is the one in effect. For any question about these documents, contact us at info@arpanet.tr.
